As Bard fever sweeps up and down the country, improve your knowledge of Shakespeare with our series of podcasts. Recorded podcasts can be accessed from http://podcasts.ox.ac.uk/ or via the iTunes U service at http://itunes.ox.ac.uk (requires the iTunes software).
Podcasting provides an ideal opportunity to open up talks, seminars and lectures to a wider audience as part of the University’s strategic priority for global outreach. If downloaded to mobile devices, they can be listened to (or viewed) even when no internet is connection available (ideal on a long flight.)
If you’d like to try your hand at podcasting, visit our help pages at http://help.it.ox.ac.uk/podcasts/index. We also offer the following sessions as part of ITLP’s Digital Media series, held in our Banbury Road training rooms:
- Podcasting at Oxford: an overview Tues 17 May, 2.00-3.30 or Mon 20 June, 2.00-3.30
- Podcasting: an introduction (hands-on training in recording, editing and publishing your own podcast) Weds 22 June, 9.15-12.15
Booking opens 30 days before each course, so for the June dates you can express an interest and receive an email when it’s time to book.
