Virtual learning environment - new (Canvas)

Canvas by Instructure is a cloud-based VLE platform that will replace WebLearn for teaching and learning purposes only. It will be used by academics to support, explore and extend their teaching practices, helping to enhance the student experience

Canvas will support the University’s specialised applications including Replay Lecture Capture, ORLO Reading List and Turnitin, the plagiarism awareness tool

Application support for Canvas will be provided by Instructure. Support for non-Canvas issues including the specialised applications listed above is via The University IT Service Desk

Full assistance will be offered to any part of the collegiate University who requests a site
