IT Services AV Support Service team wins two awards

The audio visual (AV) support service in IT Services, led by Lewis Logan-Fowler and Jake Bevan, has been recognised with two major awards at the Learning & Teaching Spaces Managers Conference for higher education (HE).

Judged by a panel of industry experts and HE technical professionals, the team received the AV Team of the Year award for their work on the Central AV Support Service.

The team also accepted the Education Project of the Year award on behalf of the University, including wider teams involved in delivering the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities.

These awards recognise the team’s hard work in expanding the service rapidly, and their delivery of high-profile, complex projects that support teaching and learning across the University.

Pete Robinson, Head of Educational Media in IT Services says,

“Conferences offer a vital space to connect with peers, share challenges, and learn from each other. We were thrilled to see our work recognised at the HE awards ceremony, receiving both AV Team of the Year and Educational Project of the Year.”

This is a significant achievement and a well-deserved acknowledgement of the team’s hard work, expertise and commitment.
