International Love Data Week 2026: Research data events

International Love Data Week is an annual event designed to raise the profile of an often-overlooked part of research: planning the management of your research data, from collection all the way to publication or archiving.

On 11 February 2026, two research data events are taking place in Oxford and you are invited to attend one or both.

Morning: Improve your knowledge and meet peers

If your role sees you managing research data, or advising others on these tasks, the morning event is an opportunity to meet your peers and help form a Community of Practice (CoP) to improve knowledge, training, and personal development.

Register for the morning event (11 February, 10am-noon at the Sheldonian Theatre)

Afternoon: Find your perfect match - open to all University members

The afternoon Love Research Data 2026 event is open to all, whether you are a student, a researcher, or just an interested party.

You can visit stalls staffed by research data management (RDM) support colleagues to find your perfect match when it comes to storing and sharing your research data.

There will also be talks by members of both the Trusted Research Environments Software Stewardship (TRESS) research project and the Careers and Skills for Data-driven Research (CaSDaR) network and others.

Register for the afternoon event (11 February, 2-5pm at the Sheldonian Theatre)

We look forward to seeing you!
