New self-service training data reports

If your role involves reporting centrally held training data for specific purposes - for example to meet regulatory requirements - our new self-service offer will allow you to export reports on demand. It will give you the data you need to produce and share reports to your own specifications.

A new way of reporting

The new arrangements will replace the current system of administrators having to make a support call to training providers who use CoSy with requests for data, which is an inefficient process for both parties, often involving long lead times. We are providing this new service as it is the most efficient and sustainable way to ensure the continued availability of up-to-date centrally-held data, available on demand in a format that facilitates analysis and reporting.

The new process extracts training data from CoSy and LinkedIn Learning, combines it with 'people’ datasets from HR and SITS, and exposes it using Power BI to export for analysis and reporting.

Getting access to download reports

Access to the tool for extracting the data will be granted via OSM service request, where you will be asked to confirm that your role meets the required criteria. Your level of access - in other words the type of ‘people’ data you will be able to extract - will be determined by the reporting requirements of your role.
