Welcome to everyone who has recently arrived in Oxford! There can be a lot to learn in your first few days after arriving and, as you can imagine, this year has even more challenges than usual. 

Guidance for new starters

We’ve put all you need to know about getting started with IT in a few handy pages on our website.

You’ll be able to find to find step-by-step guidance about:

  • activating your University accounts (including Single Sign-On)

  • connecting to Wi-Fi (eduroam)
  • accessing email using Nexus365 (Office 365)
  • getting IT help if you can’t find the answers on our websites 

You can also find out about other services, such as virtual private networks (VPNs) for working remotely, free software, staying safe online, and IT training. Take a look.
