This course is aimed at people with experience of designing databases and creating web pages, who are now interested in web-based database manipulation.
Structured Query Language (SQL) is a programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS). This online teacher-led course is a follow up to the introductory MySQL course. The course will cover several advanced MySQL concepts and you will:
- Understand Joins
- Explore Aggregate Functions and Regular Expressions
- Group records using the HAVING clause
- Explore Procedures, Functions and Triggers
- Have an overview of indexes, cursors and Information Schema
- Visit a real application
