Some enhancements include:
- Deeper customisation options for large-scale meetings and webinars, to personalise the experience for organisers and attendees
- Queues app for Teams telephony extending collaborative call handling
- Live translated captions during meetings
- Attendee caps and number limits for webinar sign-ups
- Intelligent meeting recaps for meetings you’ve missed (requires additional Copilot for N365 license)
- Speaker timeline markers during live meetings
- Number of attendees increased to 50,000 for broadcast town hall events
Many more features are highlighted in Microsoft’s licence comparison table.
The Nexus365 bolt-on licensing page has further information about Teams Premium and other bolt-on licenses - it also includes a purchase request form.
New Teams features coming soon
Development of Teams continues in the background, with updates and new features still arriving. We’ve set out some that we think you might find useful below. Look out for these in the coming months:
As always, the Microsoft 365 Roadmap shows which tools and features are being worked on. Take a look and see what else is of interest to you. Microsoft has improved filtering and the look and feel of the roadmap, but you can use the search to look for specific features.
