The Customer Services Group provides the main central IT support services for the University, including the Service Desk, digital skills training and access to site-licensed or discounted software. John became Director of Customer Services in 2013 following a reorganisation of central University IT. He has significant experience of working in IT at Oxford, including 10 years at Jesus College and 4 years as Section Manager for the Systems Development and Support team. During this time John has been directly involved in developing the teams and systems needed to support the substantial growth in the use and importance of IT in University research and teaching.
