Sam is responsible for Infrastructure Services, which delivers a range of services and underpinning infrastructure critical for supporting education, research and administration within the University. The group is also responsible for the design of technical architecture and associated roadmaps.
Sam joined the University in 2015. He has worked in a number of leadership roles of increasing responsibility, overseeing delivery for platforms that underpin many core University systems. Sam started his IT career in the early 2000s working in the construction industry as a service desk analyst before moving into systems administration and later into leadership roles.
